GENERAL INFORMATION

The viewer starts off the rezitation of quotations by his presence. Every movement is followed by a quotation.

The sculpture is made of wood (fruit-tree), the base, wherein electronic devices and loudspeakers are placed, is likewise made of wood.

TECHNICAL REALIZATION

The sensors are ultrasonic sensors (Ø 16mm) inserted into the wood, reacting to the movements of the viewer.

Electronic transmission to a CD-player make the quotations heard.

WISSENSWERTES

Der Betrachter löst in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Plastik durch seine Präsenz Zitate aus. Auf jede Bewegung erfolgt ein Zitat.

Die Plastik ist aus Holz (Obstbaum); der Sockel, in dem die Elektronik und die Lautsprecher Platz finden, ist ebenfalls aus Holz.

TECHNISCHE AUSFÜHRUNG

Die Sensoren sind, die im Holz eingefassten Ultraschall Sensoren
(x 16 mm). Sie reagieren auf die Bewegungen des Betrachters.

Eine angepasste Elektronik und ein CD-Player lassen die gespeicherten Zitate erklingen.

PRÉSENTATION

Le spectateur par sa présence dans le voisinage immédiat de la plastique, provoque la retransmission de citations. À chaque mouvement correspond une citation.

La plastique est en bois (fruitier). Le socle, où se trouvent incorporés le système électronique et les hautparleurs, est également en bois.

RÉALISATION TECHNIQUE

Le capteur est un émetteur/récepteur à ultrason (Ø 16 mm). Il réagit aux mouvements du spectateur.
Un système électronique et un lecteur CD font audible l’enregistrement des citations.
