GENERAL INFORMATION

The viewer starts off samples of laughter of different persons by his
movements close to the sculpture.

The sculpture is made of a fruit-tree trunk, the base is also made of wood.

TECHNICAL REALIZATION

The sensors are a microwave sensor (25X15mm) and light depended
resistances “LDR” sensitive to light (Ø 9mm) inserted into the sculpture.
They react to shadow and light and movement of the viewer close to the
sculpture.

The changes in voltage of the “LDR’s” are transmitted to a sound module via electronic devices.
The microwave sensor triggers a sequence of laughter when it notices movement.

No external gear is needed since all devices are built into the base of the
sculpture.

Der Betrachter löst durch seine Bewegungen in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Plastik Lacher aus.

Die hörbaren Lacher sind gesampelte Aufzeichnungen von verschiedenen Personen.
Die Plastik ist ein Spalierobstbaum, der Sockel ist aus Holz.

TECHNISCHE AUSFÜHRUNG

Die Sensoren sind ein Mikrowellensensor und die im Holz eingefassten
lichtempfindlichen Widerstände (LDR) (x 9 mm).
Sie reagieren in un-mittelbarer Umgebung auf Licht/Schatten und die Bewegungen des Betrachters.

Die Spannungsveränderungen der LDR’s werden über eine angepasste
Elektronik an ein Soundmodul weitergeleitet.
Der Mikrowellensensor löst bei Körperbewegungen jeweils eine Lachsequenz aus.

Es werden keine Aussengeräte benötigt da sich alle Geräte im Inneren des
Sockels befinden.

PRÉSENTATION

Le spectateur par sa présence dans le voisinage immédiat de la plastique
povoque des Rires enrégistrés. Les rires proviennent de diverses personnes.

La plastique provient d’un arbre fruitier d’espalier, le socle est également
en bois.

RÉALISATION TECHNIQUE

Les capteurs encastrés dans le bois sont constitués d’un émetteur à
microsons (25X15mm) et de résistances sensibles à la lumière “LDR” (Ø
9mm) . Ils réagissent à lumière et à l’ombre provenant des mouvements du
spectateur dans le voisinage immédiat de l’objet.

Les changements de tension des LDR sont transmis à un module sonore par
un système électronique approprié.

L’émetteur à microsons quand à lui, provoque selon les mouvements du
spectateur, une phase caractéristique des rires enrégistrés.
